What makes toolvein different

Four principles every tool we ship sticks to. No exceptions.

💸

Pay once. Own forever.

€4.99 unlocks the full tool. No subscriptions. No annual renewals. We update it free for life.

🕶️

Zero tracking

No accounts. No analytics. No telemetry. Your data lives in your browser, full stop. We have no servers that see you.

🎯

One job, done well

Each tool fixes one specific thing. No bloat. No "all-in-one productivity suite". Sharp edges, narrow focus.

🔒

Minimum permissions

Manifest V3, narrowest possible scope. Only the sites the tool actually needs. Nothing more, nothing hidden.

🪶

Feather-light builds

Most extensions are bloated. Ours are typically under 100 KB. Faster than a single ad on most sites.

🛠️

Made by humans

A tiny studio. No VC pressure to grow at any cost. We pick problems we'd pay to fix ourselves.

FAQ

Why one-time payment instead of subscription?

Because subscriptions for tiny browser extensions are greedy. Most tool apps need recurring revenue to fund support and infrastructure — but our extensions run entirely in your browser. No backend. Pay once, we keep it working.

How are you funded if you don't track?

Premium upgrades on each tool, all €4.99. No ads, no data sales, no investor pressure. We make money the boring honest way: people buy something useful.

Are your tools open source?

Not yet, but the code is reviewable on the Chrome Web Store (Manifest V3 means no remote code, everything visible). Open-sourcing select extensions is on the roadmap.

Can I trust a small studio?

Fair concern. We use Manifest V3 (no remote code execution), zero analytics, payment via established providers (ExtensionPay/Stripe), and our extensions only access the specific sites listed in their permissions. Nothing hidden.

Will tools update automatically?

Yes. Chrome auto-updates extensions. New features and bug fixes ship through the standard Chrome Web Store update flow — you don't have to do anything.

What's coming next?

We pick from real user pain. Right now Promise Tracker (email reminders) is in design. Have a friction you want fixed? Email hello@toolvein.com — best ideas get prioritized.
