Quick checks
- Is the extension enabled? Click the toolvein icon in Chrome's toolbar and check the toggle. Green = on.
- Are you on a supported site? Netflix, Prime Video, Amazon video, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube, Max, HBO Max.
- Did you reload the page after installing? Fresh extensions only apply to new tabs.
It's not clicking the prompt on Netflix / Prime / etc.
Streaming sites update their UI constantly, and sometimes our selectors need a day or two to catch up. If you can grab a screenshot of the prompt, email it to hello@toolvein.com and we'll push a fix within 48 hours.
How do I reset my counter?
The counter resets daily at midnight (your local time) for the "Today" number. The lifetime counter only resets if you uninstall and reinstall the extension.
Will this work on Safari / Firefox?
Not yet. Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera — anything Chromium-based with Manifest V3 support — works today. Firefox port is on our radar.
Can streaming platforms detect this?
No. The extension clicks a button that's already on the page. From Netflix's perspective, it looks identical to you clicking "Continue" yourself.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email hello@toolvein.com with:
- Which site (Netflix/Prime/etc)
- A screenshot if possible
- Your Chrome version (chrome://settings/help)
Uninstall
Go to chrome://extensions/, find "Continue Watching Auto-Skip", click "Remove". All your local data is deleted with the extension.
