1. Who runs this
toolvein is a small studio building narrow Chrome extensions. Contact: hello@toolvein.com. Full details in our Imprint.
2. What data the Continue Watching extension processes
The "Continue Watching Auto-Skip" extension runs entirely on your device. It does not send any data to us or any third party.
Locally stored on your device (chrome.storage.local)
- Enabled/disabled state — whether you've toggled the extension on
- Click counter — how many prompts have been auto-dismissed for you (total + today + per host)
- Premium settings (if purchased) — your custom delay value and whitelist of hostnames
This data stays on your computer. It is never transmitted to us. You can wipe it anytime by removing the extension or calling chrome.storage.local.clear() in your browser console.
What we do NOT collect
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports
- No account system — there is nothing to sign up for
- No tracking cookies on this website
- No browsing history, no video titles, no watch data
- No IP addresses logged by us
3. Payments (Premium feature)
If you purchase the optional Premium upgrade (€3.99 one-time), payment is handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe as the payment processor. We never see your card number. ExtensionPay/Stripe collect the data they need to process your payment and issue invoices; see their privacy policies for details.
We receive only an anonymous identifier confirming that you paid. No name, email, or location is shared with us unless you contact support yourself.
4. This website (toolvein.com)
This marketing site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log standard server requests (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for abuse prevention, retained for a short period per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not run any analytics on this site. No cookies are set by us.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. Since we do not hold personal data about you, there is practically nothing to request — but you can email us anytime at hello@toolvein.com.
6. Children
The extension and this site are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone, including minors.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Meaningful changes will be announced on this page.
